Day 1: Arrival at Shimla

Shimla is the capital of State and the largest city in the State. Although it is the largest in the State, it’s still a small city and you can explore pretty much everything you want within a day like vice regal lodge or The ridge .

After local sightseeing we suggest you stay away from cities hustle bustle, opt Summer Hill, Mashobra or Kufri for night stay.

Day 2: Start Exploring Hindustan Tibet Road

This day was a Joyful travel day, planned to hit up to 5 locations. Shimla is the place where you hire a 4×4 vehicle or any SUV which is essential for the Roads that you are going to experience on Hindustan Tibet Road and is extremely popular tourist destination. You can visit Kufri, another tourist destination, while on the move from Shimla to Narkanda and then Depending upon time on hands, you can also visit Hatu Peak from Narkanda and can be used as lunch stop. On our way to the Sarahan, I you will spot some great sights near the road and had to stop to take some pictures.

There is a U-Turn toward right at Jeori just ahead of Rampur which takes you all the way to Sarahan. At Evening, you headed to the Sarahan which is a very quiet place with some nice views. There is a famous Bhimakali temple at tow you can surely visit that.

Day 3: Sangla and Chitkul

Start a day from Sarahan move towards Valley Sangla on the way, you pulled over on the road to a couple of interesting locations that caught attention. Rakchham is a picturesque place, surrounded by snow-capped peaks. Then move forward toward Sangla which have gorgeous mountains in the background and situated on the bank of Baspa River. There were some different looking plants around the area too. After taking pictures & visiting Sangla valley, headed towards Chitkul. This was one of the locations you were really looking forward to because you see so many cool pictures of chunks of glacier ice on the black sand beach with bright blue glaciers floating in the water. Chitkul is also last inhibited village of India on Indo-Tibet Border. After sunset, you headed to your hotel for the night stay.

Day 4: Chitkul to Kalpa

Today's journey takes you To Kalpa and Reckong Peo through the Sangla and their small villages and high mountains. Reckong Peo is district headquarters of Kinnaur district. Today you will drive across the impressive and the beautiful Sangla Valley and little bit rough terrain, hills and almost none traffic, the immense and remarkable plains with lovely views of the outlet glaciers of the great Himalayas.

Day 5 , 6 : Kalpa to Nako

Today you will travel in National Highway 5, stopping at many points of interests. Don’t forget to tank up at Reckong Peo because you will not find any filling station till Kaza .We will explore the famous village during drive like Pooh and Khab and you will end the day by visiting the majestic Nako Village. You will have to register yourself near Pooh at a check post for further journey. Keep your driving license ready as it will be required at ITBP check post.  Nako Village has a charming lake and a monastery surely visit that. While driving you will feel the beauty of mountains in morning the look like stony and then they become pleasant.

Khab village is famous for old monastery or  you must also consider Shipki-La Pass height of approximate 5670 from sea level and 30 kms from Khab Village this is the place where Satluj River Enters into India from Tibet you must take permission first from ITBP authority first.

Day 7 Nako to Kaza

You will start your journey towards Tabo along with Spiti River While driving to Tabo you will see a beautiful village Sumdo which is located close to the Kaurik which is situated with Tibet border Sumdo is also a point where Parchu river meet Spiti river. Kaurik are exceptionally beautiful villages (now army occupied) surrounded by snow-capped mountains Kaurik is a place where Parchu River Enters into India from Tibet. You May also Consider visiting Lepcha Village Permissions required from ITBP check post at Sumdo.

Tabo astonish you with its impressive thousand year old monastery a beautiful temple inside which is also a UNESCO World Heritage. This Heritage Site is regarded holiest by Dalai Lama. Next On the way to Kaza There is 1200 year old Dhankar monastery. It is situated at an elevation of 3,894 meters in the Spiti Valley above Dhankar Village. You travel across the mighty Spiti River that Have quite extraordinary View in some places. Take an Overnight stay anywhere in between Tabo or Kaza it all depends on how much you will take to roam this entire area.

You can also consider to visit Dhankar Lake which is one hour trek from Dhankar Monastery. This location has splendorous surroundings with pristine white water.

Day 8 , 9  Kaza

After breakfast drive towards beautiful monastery Key, then drive towards one of the very beautiful village Kibber (4205 m) have lunch in Kibber, after lunch start driving towards a small village of Spiti called Lang za and go for a walk to the fossil park, collect some fossils and then start driving towards the world’s highest motor able village with the electricity called Komic (4550 m) by the evening get back to Kaza.

Day 10 – Kaza to Chandratal Lake

Chandratal is at about a distance of 60 kms from Kaza via Kunzum Pass which will be your first high altitude pass in the journey so far. After you cross the Kunzum Pass top there are 14 kms narrow  stretch going towards Chandratal. After reaching Chandratal campsite check in and relax a while and then go ahead to explore the lake, you have to cover this last bit of distance on foot as vehicles are not allowed after a certain point.

Day 11 Chandratal to Manali via Rohtang Pass

Next up on your trip you will explore the sweeping snow covered mountains surrounding , vast expanse or Peaks around Chattru, Snow Capped Mountains at Rohtang Pass and dense forested hills of Manali. In 200 Kilometre road from Kaza to Manali you can enjoy the stunning view of the spectacular and ever changing scenery.

Day 12 Solang Valley or Manali Local

Today you will visit Solang Valley Which is perhaps one of the best summer destinations in Himachal Pradesh Situated on the way to Manali from Rohtang, every year the valley welcomes tourists in huge numbers. During summers, adventure enthusiasts, Parachuting to paragliding, horse riding to driving mini open jeeps especially available for tourists of all age groups, Solang has it all. This is one place that is perfect for people who love to see and experience quaint landscapes.

In winters valley is covered with snow, skiing is a popular sport here, with training institutes and trainers located in the valley to supervise skiers and train beginners. As the snow melts, skiing is taken over by zorbing.

Day 13 Manali to Home Town

Wake up and have your refreshing breakfast greet your morning and drive toward beautiful Village Nagger Take explore this lovely place closely before you get transferred to your Hometown.
